Q&A

What is your wellness philosophy?

Wellness is a process, not a state of being. It's an experience that requires a stable foundation of self awareness & deliberate participation in sustaining that awareness and growing it. We can then balance our awareness between our capability and resources, and the demands of daily life. Responding to needs as they arise = balance!

What brought you into wellness?

I briefly tried to be a nurse, and that's when I realized that I needed to be on the preventative side of things, not treatment focused. I wanted to get to the root if imbalance instead of treating its symptoms. I wanted to understand how both systemically and energetically, everything is connected and affects everything else.

What does You. We. All. mean to you?

We are all a part of nature. We belong to nature. All other life forms are instinctively guided to live in symbiosis with nature. As humans, we have a choice of how we wish to behave and act, if we wish to be in relationship with another. Our conditioning has disconnected us from our impulses to serve the greater whole. This stems from fear and de-sensitivity. So we must choose to connect. We must choose to live in symbiosis with each other, and with our planet, and with our universe. Nature programs symbiosis in us with LOVE. We must choose to love, always. You. We. All.

What renews you?

Meditation, movement, connection, and growth.

What's your favorite ritual?

My morning is my sacred time. I wake up, walk my dog, meditate, and make a hot tonic (or super coffee) depending on the day...while I sip I write in my gratitude journal. If my day begins this way, I can not be knocked off my center!
