The Starbucks Drinks Menu Is Getting Smaller: Here’s What’s Disappearing

Get ’em before March 4.

Mall culture really is dead, its final death knell the sunsetting of 13 beverages from the Starbucks drinks menu. Might they live again on the not-so-secret secret menu? Only time will tell, but for now, we say goodbye.

There may be more cuts ahead, too: The mega-chain tells Glamour that additional food and beverages will be making their exit from the Starbucks menu in the coming months, resulting in a roughly 30% reduction by September 2025. Just in time for all their pumpkin spice offerings to return, at least.

“As part of our plan to get back to Starbucks, we’re simplifying our menu to focus on fewer, more popular items, executed with excellence,” the company said in a statement to Glamour via email. “This will make way for innovation, help reduce wait times, improve quality and consistency, and align with our core identity as a coffee company.”

To that end, the company is axing the following beverages:

  1. Iced Matcha Lemonade
  2. Espresso Frappuccino
  3. Caffè Vanilla Frappuccino
  4. White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino
  5. Java Chip Frappuccino
  6. Chai Crème Frappuccino
  7. Caramel Ribbon Crunch Crème Frappuccino
  8. Double Chocolaty Chip Crème Frappuccino
  9. Chocolate Cookie Crumble Crème Frappuccino
  10. White Chocolate Crème Frappuccino
  11. White Hot Chocolate
  12. Royal English Breakfast Latte
  13. Honey Almondmilk Flat White

And please, put down the hipsterism and smug satisfaction over being a black coffee drinker, if that’s what you are. It’s been covered. Starbucks has been roasted (pun intended) in Best in Show, Role Models, and You’ve Got Mail, yet here we are and here they are.

Anyway, RIP Frap Flavors. There are other Frappuccino™ (yes, it's a trademarked product) flavors on the menu, so you can still basically have a milkshake in the middle of the day and call it a coffee, and you can still order the above items until March 4.

Also, keep an eye out for the spring Starbucks drinks menu, which will include a new drink and food item. “We’re focusing on premium beverages rooted in customer trends and preferences,” says Starbucks. “For example, in January, we introduced the Cortado, which has which has already performed beyond our expectations. And this spring, we’re excited to bring back the beloved Lavender beverages and will also introduce a new Iced Cherry Chai and Jalapeño Chicken Pocket.”
