  • Disable IPv6: Disabling IPv6 can sometimes resolve connectivity issues with older WiFi adapters. Go to the Network and Sharing Center, access the properties of your network connection, and uncheck the box for Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6).
  • Check for Interference: Other electronic devices and physical obstacles can interfere with WiFi signals. Ensure that there are no devices like microwaves or cordless phones near your adapter and try changing the position of your router for better signal strength.
